Tempest, in my words

ymest : tempest

The Illunse word for tempest (violent storm) is ymest. In Old English ymest can translate to upmost, highest but the word is more commonly yfemest.

This word is a mixture of the Old English word yst (storm, tempest, hurricane, whirlwind, rough water, surge) and the Latin word tempestas which means weather, especially bad weather, storm, tempest (and figuratively attack, fury) but also means a period of time, a season.
