tealg : temple
The Illunse word for temple is tealg. Similar word teal is a medium blue-green color, more blue than green.
This word is a mixture of the the Latin word for temple which is templum (temple, church; shrine; holy place), and the Old English word for temple which is hearg or hearga (temple, altar, sanctuary, idol; grove).
In Old English tempel (or templ) also means temple. That word was obviously borrowed from Latin.
