Spring, in my words (revised)

verenc : spring

The Illunse word for spring (season) is verenc. Similar word Ferenc is a masculine first name, the Hungarian equivalent of Francis.

This word is a mixture of the Latin word for spring which is ver and the Old English word for spring which is lencten (the fast of Lent).

My previous Illunse word for spring was ferent. I'm modifying this word because I defined my Illunse word for strong (forant) to be too similar to it. Also, when revising, I decided to keep the V from the Latin word, and not transform it into a F. Old English doesn't use V.

Autumn, in my words

aethum : autumn

The Illunse word for autumn (or fall) is aethum. Aethum in Welsh translates to "I went". Aethum seems to mean something in Tamil when transliterated. Similar word anethum is Latin for dill, and anethum graveolens is the scientific classification for dill.

This word is a mixture of the Latin word for autumn which is autumnus or autumnum and the Old English word for autumn which is hærfest (like harvest).

Summer, in my words

sumast : summer

The Illunse word for summer is sumast. Sumast means something in Hindi transliterated.

This word is a mixture of the Old English word for summer which is sumor and the Latin word for summer which is aestas.

Winter, in my words

hiwern : winter

The Illunse word for winter is hiwern.

This word is a mixture of the Latin word for winter which is hiems and the Old English word for winter which is winter (same as Modern English).

In French the word for winter is hiver.
