Bird, in my words (revised)

flis : bird

The Illunse word for bird is flis. Flis is a last name. In Danish, Swedish and Norwegian flis translates to a chip, or chips.

This word is a mixture of the Old English word for bird which is fugel or fugol and the Latin word for bird which is avis.

My previous word for bird was aefis, which was mix of Latin and Old English.

I last defined bird in May. Instead of repeating Tolkien's Quenya and Sindarin words for bird, here's a link to Bird, in Tolkien's words.
